Description

Ubud dining chair is a homage to the hand woven culture of Bali. It also takes the inspiration from the famed Italian architect and designer Franco Albini whose many furniture designs in the 50’s materialized the marriage of traditional and modern materials.

The seat of Ubud dining chair, features a thin yet strong rattan frame, a departure from the traditional design, with a simple weave focused on the comfort of the body. The weave conforms to the shape of the body yet firmly receiving it.

This dining  chair is high enough to be comfortable to the arm and low enough to tuck under a dining table.
Easily detachable, the rust resistant matte black steel base lends a modern look to the chair. Using native materials and local know how, Ubud dining chair makes a gentle leap toward the ethos of sustainability and green design.

The open weave gives an airiness to a small space, an earthiness to a modern space and lends itself to a bohemian or a modern space. Whether to use it in a study room to write the next great novel, or as a dining chair enjoying delicious meals with friends and family, or taking a respite from a busy life on a porch, this chair is sure to delight every soul.
