There’ve been a lot of changes happening here and in the world. In lieu of these changes, we’ve decided to include all Fair Furniture items on our partner website Silla Acapulco Original. We have various reasons for making this decision and have decided to streamline our efforts. The Fair Furniture website remains as is for now, but will eventually point directly to www.sillaacapulco.com.
Fair Furniture is still the parent company and our values, such as fair trade, ethical production, and conscious living is embodied in all of our projects. Silla Acapulco existed long before Fair Furniture and was inspired by our love for the original and handmade Acapulco chairs, woven by local artisans in Mexico. The Acapulco chairs are made from phthalate-free PVC cords ensuring less harm to the environment and also available in natural materials like hemp rope and tule.
In blending Fair Furniture and Silla Acapulco Original, we’ve expanded our product line to include a wide range of handmade furniture from Mexico, Indonesia and Italy (stay tuned) AND expanded the product line to include a wider range of natural materials like bamboo, rattan and recycled plastic. Silla Acapulco is also a member of 1% for the Planet.
